Northrop Handed $100M BPA from OPM

Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has won a follow-on blanket purchase agreement (BPA) worth a potential $100 million from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management to electronically convert and store federal employee records for streamlined access to information.

Northrop Grumman’s Information Systems sector will provide project management, systems integration, lifecycle development support and systems engineering services to support the implementation and maintenance of electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPFs). To date, the company has completed implementation of approximately one million records at more than 35 federal agencies, making Enterprise Human Resource Integration (EHRI) one of the largest electronic records initiatives in the federal government.

“EHRI is transforming the way federal HR specialists, managers and employees access vital personnel information securely and cost effectively,” said Catherine Kuenzel, vice president of Federal Mission Programs for Northrop Grumman’s Civil Systems division. “Northrop Grumman is dedicated to helping OPM achieve its goals of creating a citizen-centered electronic government and facilitate inter-agency collaboration by leveraging information technology for modernized processes that benefit all federal employees.”
