MAXIMUS Wins Pair of Employment Service Deals Down Under

MAXIMUS (NYSE:MMS) claimed two new employment services contracts by the Australian Department of Education, Employment, and Workplace Relations. The Disability Employment Services and Green Jobs Corps contracts are expected to contribute approximately $10 million (USD) in revenue in the second half of fiscal 2010.

“These two employment services contracts represent an excellent strategic fit to our core offerings and follow last year’s doubling of our Australian operations, ” said Richard A. Montoni, CEO of MAXIMUS. “Helping disadvantaged people become more job-ready and obtain sustainable employment is a core competency for MAXIMUS. With an existing network of employment consultants and allied health professionals in Australia, we are well prepared to meet the employment needs of Australia’s workforce.”
