The General Services Administration (GSA) has awarded a team headed by Stantec a contract to provide laser scanning and surveying services. The contract is for five years and is worth an estimated $30 million.
Under the contract, Stantec will provide 3D laser scanning to help augment the building information modeling program and help build a database for federal facilities.
Bob Gomes, president and CEO, said “This is a significant win for Stantec’s US operations. This contract allows us to demonstrate our full range of surveying and mapping capabilities on a large scale and to contribute to an important federal initiative.”
