Contract Award – SAIC – $70 Million – Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk


Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) has announced a prime contract award from the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk (FISCN) for  professional support services to the Commander, Naval Installations Command (CNIC) Headquarters and Chief of Naval Operations. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract has a one year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total value of more than $70 million for SAIC, if all options are exercised. Work will be performed mostly in the National Capital Region.

CNIC enables the Navy to execute its mission through enterprise alignment of all shore installation support. Under this contract, SAIC will provide professional services including program management, engineering, logistics, and financial management. SAIC will also support CNIC management, organizational and business improvement efforts.

Tom Baybrook, SAIC senior vice president and business unit manager, said of the award “We look forward to providing quality support services to help the CNIC as it continues to enable and enhance Navy combat power by providing effective and efficient shore services and support.”
