On Monday, QinetiQ appointed Mike Howarth its new Managing Director of its Managed Services business. Howarth will focus on the provision of technology-rich outsourced services to government and industry both in the United Kingdom and overseas.
Howarth comes to QinetiQ from Serco Defence Science and Technology, where he served as the Managing Director of Training and Support Services. He was responsible for over 1, 200 employees.
“He brings a wealth of experience across business development, project leadership and operations as well as an energetic approach to business, ” said QinetiQ CEO Graham Love.
“Mike will build on QinetiQ’s successful track record in the delivery of outsourced services to UK government by targeting new customers across the public and private sectors and by exporting our expertise.”
