Is TSA Poised to Annonce Winner of a Billion Dollar Recompete?

Unisys originally won the $1 billion Information Technology Managed Services contract from the TSA in 2002.  The company also won a bridge contract extending the work through the end of 2008.  Sources close to GovConWire tell us that after several false starts, the TSA could make a decision on the re-compete as early as tomorrow, September 25, 2009.

CSC is seen as one of the main competitors, and may be poised to win the recmpete.   It also widely believed that the contract could be protested after contract award.  Stay tuned for details
