Navy Awards $49 Million Contract to Alion ST

Alion ST, of McLean, VA has been awarded a one year contract with four options, by the US Navy for $49 Million. The government contractor is tasked with modeling and simulation support for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic. This will be accomplished through technical engineering services and software development support.

Rear Adm. Richard Brooks, senior VP and manager of Alion’s distributed simulation group said, “simulations and computer-based exercises help decision makers effectively work through their options and possible outcomes without risking lives, equipment and resources.”

Alion will team with Egis.net Inc., AT&T Government Solutions, AUSGAR Technologies Inc., Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., DDL OMNI Engineering Corp., Diamond Data, DRC, Engenuity, General Dynamics Information Technology, L-3 Services Inc./C2S2 Division, NETSIMCO, Northrop Grumman Maritime Mission Systems, Novonics, Raytheon VTC, Referentia, SAIC, Valkyrie, and Whitney, Bradley & Brown on the contract.
