DARPA Awards IBM with $16M Contract

IBM won a $16 million Defense Advance Research Projects Agency contract to work on the SyNAPSE, or brain-on-a-chip, program. The program is designed to simulate human brain function on actual hardware so computers have the ability to interpret data.
