Affiliated Computer Sevices, Inc has received a $200 million contract from Protransporte, to design a contactless ticketing system for the Bus Rapid Transit line in Lima, Peru.ACS will provide fleet management and ticketing solutions for the first Bus Rapid Transit line for 220 buses, which will serve over 700, 000 people per day. The company will create smart contactless cards that should considerably reduce wait time.

In the next few years, the City of Lima hopes to expand to create more bus lines and ten similar ticketing solution programs.
