ICF International wins $60M Contract
The National Institute of Health has awarded Farifax based company ICF International a 5-year, $ 60 million contract.
The health informatics contract will include data collection and analysis, and information dissemination for the National Library of Science and other NIH groups.
ICF International already provides health informatics work to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Health Informatics optimizes information acquisition, storage, retrieval, and use in medicine.
Under the new contract, ICF will support biomedical and clinical services like data collection and analysis, information dissemination, and outreach initiatives for several NIH Institutes and Centers.
Matthew Perry, ICF VP and program director, says that as the “pace of biomedical research and innovations in technology accelerates, demand for transparency and public access to this important information continues to increase,” and ICF provides the solutions to tap into this growing marketplace.
